John Sokol

Chairman, CEO & President

John has led Ohio Indemnity as Chairman, CEO, and President since 2007. He previously served as President from 1999 to 2007, Executive Vice President from 1996 to 1999, and Vice President from 1993 to 1996. Before joining the company, he held officer roles at Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank, gaining valuable experience in national banking and financial services.

Chief Financial Officer

Matt has served as CFO since 2004 and oversees all financial operations of the company. He joined Ohio Indemnity in 2003 as Manager of Finance & Reporting. Earlier in his career, he worked at KPMG as an Audit Manager specializing in financial services and insurance. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio.

Steve has led underwriting for the unemployment compensation program since 1999. He joined Ohio Indemnity in 1989 and previously served as Assistant Vice President. Before that, he managed the unemployment compensation insurance program at Rockwood Insurance Group.
